Julia J. Schmidt

Julia J. Schmidt was born on December 26, 1981, in Überlingen on Lake Constance. She grew up in the Black Forest and subsequently lived in Giessen, Toulouse (France), Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt am Main for professional reasons.

In 2017, she married her husband Marcel and moved with him to Hungary in 2023, to the Puszta near Kecskemét. Here, she lives happily with her husband, two boxers, two cats, and three turtles in a Tanya in the Hungarian forests.

Her first book, "Drei Kleine Schakale" was published on Amazon on July 22, 2025. Her second book, "Takaritók – Trappeln in der Nacht," a mystery novel also set in beautiful Hungarian Puszta, is already in the starting blocks.
