Gina Gallivan Ph.D.

Dr. Gina Gallivan, Ph.D., ABPP is a Board-Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist with more than two decades of experience supporting the wellness and resilience of first responders. She has served over 100 police, fire, EMS, and dispatch agencies, responded to major critical incidents, and trained peer support teams nationwide.

A California POST Subject Matter Expert and national leader in officer wellness initiatives, Dr. Gallivan is known for creating practical, culturally fluent tools that work in the real world. She is the founder of Southern California’s Regional Peer Support Program—a nationally recognized model for mutual aid between agencies after traumatic events—and has developed recovery programs that integrate therapy, wellness, and peer-based support.

In addition to her clinical and training work, Dr. Gallivan is committed to expanding access to peer support education through scholarships for retired police officers, volunteer firefighters, and veterans, enabling those who have served to continue making an impact in their communities.
