Sara Rose Stopp

By day, Sara is working as a billing analyst who wrangles spreadsheets with the precision of a caffeinated squirrel. By night (and any moment she can steal in between), she's a storyteller, illustrator, and ukulele enthusiast who grew up on a farm in the wilds of Iowa, where her earliest audience was a judgmental flock of chickens. Now based in Colorado, she channels her rural roots and creative chaos into stories that blend heart, humor, and a touch of mischief.

Her debut book, Jerome the Gnome, proves that even pint-sized garden dwellers can have big personalities and questionable decision-making skills. When not wrangling plot twists and illustrations, Sara strums tunes on her ukulele (which may or may not be named Karen).
