Johnny Neil is a self-taught writer, musician, and painter based in the Texas Hill Country. He splits his time between New Orleans and the open road, chasing the ghost of America through roadside diners, juke joints, and dying towns. His work lives at the crossroads of Southern Gothic and outlaw myth, shaped by back alley blues, bad dreams, and the wreckage of memory. Whether on canvas, record, or the page, he’s after the same thing: the soul beneath the static.
