Denise Desantis

Hi my name is Denise DeSantis. I am a teacher, designer, author and have been knitting for over 25 years. It wasn't until I started teaching sock knitting that I realized something was wrong. Sock knitting was considered hard, scary and not for beginner knitters. My goal was to prove that theory wrong. Anyone can knit socks successfully!

My book, No Fear Sock Knitting, was written to help replace fear with understanding, worry with knowledge and anxiety with excitement. My passion is to share my love of sock knitting and spread a sense of fearlessness to as many sock knitters as possible. The patterns and instruction in this book will guide you through all the steps of sock knitting, from picking yarn and needles to grafting a toe or binding off a cuff and all the wonder that lies in between. I hope my book keeps you company and gently guides you on your sock knitting journey.

I live in New York, where I enjoy audiobooks, tea and time with family and friends all while sock knitting of course.
