Sandra LJ is a children’s author with a passion for capturing the spirit of Austin, Texas, one story at a time. With a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, Sandra has called many places home, including Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Georgia, before finally settling in Austin with her husband over 25 years ago. The Hill Country’s charm and unique Austin originals have inspired her writing, and she celebrates the creativity that makes this city so special.

Though she’s new to independent publishing, Sandra is excited to bring the uniqueness of Austin to life for young readers, connecting them with the vibrant stories and people of her community.
