Peggy Griffith is an award-winning librarian, literacy advocate, and debut children’s author. With over two decades of experience working with youth and families, she brings heart, insight, and purpose to every story she tells. Her debut picture book, A Service Dog for Paige, was inspired by her own journey navigating invisible disabilities with the help of a service dog.
Peggy currently manages library services for youth in secure facilities, where she champions the power of books to build empathy, connection, and hope. She is the recipient of the 2025 I Love My Librarian Award and the Emerging Leader Award from the Delaware Library Association. When she's not writing or advocating for access to books, Peggy enjoys gardening, hanging out with her dogs, and creating safe, joyful spaces for others to be themselves.
