Matthew J Peake

I began my professional career in 1982 as a family physician in rural Vermont. After 24 years, I left my practice of medicine to pursue a fulltime career in the visual arts.

Collaboration has been a unifying motivation for all of my art-making, whether I make art in isolation (and collaboration occurs from the influence of the artwork I have seen) or in real time with visual artists, poets, and photographers to create collages, photographs, and books (No Staycation, Great Art Undone, Frank the Frog).
