Emily Gervasio

Emily Gervasio is an author, mother and Assistant Principal with over twenty years of experience in education and a lifelong passion for children’s literature. A parent of three, she has spent more than seventeen years reading to her children every night -- fueling her love for stories that connect families and spark imagination!

With dual master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education, plus decades of teaching reading and writing, Emily brings both professional expertise and heartfelt parenting experience to her books. Her playful rhymes capture the joy, humor, and everyday magic of toddlerhood, making her stories relatable for both children and parents. Her purpose is to inspire a love of reading, strengthen early literacy skills, and nurture meaningful family connections.

Emily is the author of The Little Honey Collection (Little Honey Loves to Play, and Little Honey Loves to Eat) and Party in the Sky, with more books on the way. Little Honey Loves the Beach and a Keepsake Special Edition of Little Honey Loves to Nap will be released soon! Each title is designed to engage young readers, nurture early literacy skills, and celebrate the special moments of childhood.

When she’s not writing, Emily can be found mentoring educators, enjoying the beach, or discovering new books to share with her family.
