Jennifer Bourne

Jennifer Bourne is a loving wife, mother, retired teacher, grandmother, editor, and publisher. She has a MS in EdTech, taught Language Arts for over 30 years, taught adult education, and wrote middle school technology curriculum. She has always loved being outside doing various activities like biking, going to the park, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors. She loves learning about nature and sharing her knowledge about plants and animals (and even bugs), and finding cloud shapes in the sky with her family. Her love for nature is reflected in her writing and creative inspirations.

With over thirty years’ experience working with children in elementary and middle schools, she continues to teach through her books. She believes that reading and writing sparks wonder and curiosity in everyone. She publishes her work through Bourne to Write Press, an independent children’s book imprint based in Newport News, Virginia.
