Dr. Chandrashekhar Chawan, PhD, FSLS, FAAO is a globally recognized celebrity optometrist and vision scientist with over 35 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of keratoconus. A pioneer in the field of specialty contact lenses, Dr. Chawan is renowned for his expertise in impression-based scleral lenses, high-order aberration (HOA) optics, and non-surgical visual rehabilitation for complex corneal conditions.

Founder of Shekhar Eye Research in Mumbai, India, Dr. Chawan has helped thousands of keratoconus patients regain functional vision and quality of life through personalized, cutting-edge treatments.
