Derek L. Calhoun

Bishop Derek L. Calhoun is a multifaceted leader known for his work as an author, educator, entrepreneur, coach, podcaster, and executive strategist, with a strong dedication to advancing a Biblical worldview in ministry and business. He has over 35 years of diverse experience across education, government, law, ministry, and business consulting and is recognized for motivating audiences nationally and internationally.

Extensive Professional Background: Bishop Calhoun has served in various public and private educational roles including an Adjunct professor, English and Bible instructor and the Dean of Students at a Christian academy. He currently works as an executive strategist and coach for private and corporate clients. He has authored several books and he also co-authored, “Breaking The Recession Mindset”.

Academic and Ministerial Credentials: He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Divinity from Howard University. His ministry began in 1984, leading to ordination and senior pastoral roles, including co-founding and overseeing New Vision International Ministries.
