Paul Brian Mashkovtsev

Paul Brian Mashkovtsev is the creator of North Dakota Fairytales, a magical collection of winter-themed stories and songs for children. Inspired by Russian, Tatar, and Chuvash folk tales, he adapts traditional legends into heartwarming picture books full of snow, animals, and friendship. His stories are brought to life through children’s books and original songs in English, Spanish, and Arabic.

Paul believes that everything new is often something old and wise, just rediscovered. Through his work, he invites modern children into the world their parents and grandparents grew up with—a world where honesty, kindness, and courage rule, and good always triumphs over evil. His mission is to share joy, wonder, and snowy adventures with kids and families around the world.
