S.J. Terra

Sandra is a Mom (yes a capital 'M' mom) of 5 mostly grown kids and an owner of two dogs. Along with her husband, she has lived in Winnipeg for the last 22 years. Growing up in Alberta and living in Northern Ontario, she ran track, served in the Canadian Armed Forces, trained with the RCMP, ran a home daycare and now sells Lego. She volunteers as a facilitator for the EAL program at her church. Sandra is writing at least two books at any point in time and probably editing a third. So stay tuned.

She longs to make fantasy stories accessible to those kids who don't know the history of the world, or who can't keep track of the magic and lore. Sandra began writing her novel to encourage kids of all ages to enjoy reading interesting fantastical people who happen to have all the same doubts and fears that they do but also all of the strengths and support that can be found to deal with their issues. People are still people no matter if they were born with wings or fins or feet. It is knowing how to use their strengths and overcome their weaknesses and how to do it with style and humour that make us all human.
