Ofer Hermoni

Dr. Ofer Hermoni is a respected entrepreneur and seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and product strategy. He has successfully led startups in the patents and privacy sectors and is widely recognized for his contributions to the global AI community. As co-founder and former elected chair of the Linux Foundation AI & Data, Ofer played a pivotal role in advancing open-source AI initiatives worldwide.

He holds a Ph.D. in computer science and is the inventor of more than 60 patents across AI, networking, security, and blockchain, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen.

Today, Ofer leads iForAI, an AI consultancy where he and his team guide companies through the AI maturity journey, with a focus on strategy, implementation, and product innovation. He is also an active member of the NIST AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC), contributing to the U.S. government’s efforts to promote the safe and trustworthy development of artificial intelligence.
