Thomas Mauser

Thomas Mauser, a lifelong history enthusiast with a passion for the American Civil War, holds degrees from the University of Toronto and Syracuse University. After holding various technical and management roles in the computer industry for nearly four decades, he began a second career teaching English. Now retired, Thomas spends his time visiting Civil War battlefields, travelling with his wife Adriana to Italy, England, Slovenia, and the United States, reading historical fiction, and working on his next historical novel. As a cancer survivor, Thomas passionately believes that life should be lived with faith and perseverance.
