Jim Garfinkel

Jim Garfinkel is an equine veterinarian residing in the foothills of Sacramento. He is married to Katie, and has two wonderful daughters, Kacey and Jessie. Jim has also succesfully shown performance horses in numerous disciplines from 3-Day eventing to Cutting Horse competitions. Fortunately for him, the entire family suffers from the same equine addiction. He started writing, directing and acting in skits and plays as a teenager, and that morphed into doing the same for christian skits and plays as an adult. His faith in Jesus Christ, and his propensity for apologetics stems from his career in equine veterinary medicine. Throughout his schooling, as well as everyday life, he has heard man's scientific explations being inserted into the Word of God. But as Romans 1:20 tells us: "For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisable qualities---his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God." Jim sees God's creation and intentionality in everything from the complete gestation progress of a mare, to the healing of a horse's wounds. His writings are indended to glorify God, and hopefully encourage those who experience them.
