Deborah is the author of several Bible studies relating to recovery issues, has written numerous children’s stories, and has been recognized for her writing abilities. The inspirations for this story are Deborah’s musings as a teenager, while ringing a bell at The Salvation Army Christmas kettle in Marion, Ohio, and more recently in Myrtle Beach. Debbi and Paul maintain a retirement home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and enjoy traveling, reading and music. They have three adult children, and 5 grandchildren, all of whom provide material for printable illustrations.
