Ranjan Pal

Ranjan Pal is a Vedic astrologer, scholar, author, and editor of the B.V. Raman series in Astrology published by Motilal Banarsidass International. Ranjan is trained by the renowned astrologer Richa Shukla (a student of the legend Shri K. N. Rao at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in New Delhi), equivalent of the Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya degrees. Ranjan has a PhD in computer science and is currently a Research Scientist and a faculty member at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA. He is a global cybersecurity expert and currently an invited working group member of the World Economic Forum with some of his cybersecurity insights reaching the US White House.

Ranjan extensively writes for Forbes, The Financial Times, The Economic Times, The Financial Express, Business Today, and The Times of India, and has been an invited speaker in over 50 venues around the globe. He has held visiting scholar and faculty positions at the University of Cambridge, Princeton University, the University of Michigan, King's College London, Indian School of Business, Tsinghua University, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIT Delhi, DAIICT, and AIIMS.
