I was born in Tempe, Arizona in February 1947 and attended First Grade at Lincoln Elementary School four blocks from our home. When I was a year and a half I had a Port Vine growth removed from my left forearm which left a scar. I attended Lowell Elementary School, Scottsdale High School, then served a mission for my church in Mexico for two and a half years. I met my wife and we were married while attending Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. While there, I studied, Spanish, French, Italian and Latin plus one year of German. Professionally, I worked at the Genealogical Library in Salt Lake City interpreting documents for hundreds of patrons over thirty-five years retiring in 2009. During these same years I began writing stories, short stories at first, the novels. At present there are twelve of my works available on Amazon under my pen-name Henry Waters.
