I am from Dublin, Ireland. I’ve been writing poems and stories since I was very young and have always had a love of reading books, making me a bookworm of sorts. I have always been a student of people, which in turn makes my work very character-driven. I appreciate people’s nuances, quirks, and idiosyncrasies. My creative work, especially my fiction books, is representative of the places and areas where I grew up in Dublin, and is rooted in the working class, which I am proud to be a part of. I collaborated on 'A space on the shelf' with my good friend Andrew Gray, who created all the illustrations and cover design in the book through a reverse ekphrastic process, and who inspired me to pursue publication. I thoroughly enjoyed writing 'A space on the shelf' even though the process was at times very complex, and I hope people will enjoy reading its intrinsic Irish and Dublin themes, humour, and conversation.
