Michelle Grant

Dr. Michelle Grant is a certified sommelier and owner of Era Wine Bar and Kitchen in Mount Rainier, Maryland. Michelle graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in international relations, followed by Michigan State University with a doctorate in educational policy and international development. Michelle worked in global development and corporate social responsibility for 15 years before falling in love with and pursuing the wine industry. What started out as a simple food and wine blog in 2013 slowly burgeoned into a life with wine, food, and hospitality at the center of each day. Michelle is a wife and mom to two children and an English bulldog named Biko.
