For over three decades, I have had the privilege of working at the intersection of technology, leadership, and innovation. My journey in the world of Information Technology has been shaped by roles at some of the industry’s leading organizations, including Barclays, Infosys Technologies, and Wipro Technologies. As an Associate Vice President of Technology, Technology Architect, Software Engineering Lead, and a passionate mentor for STEM initiatives, I’ve experienced firsthand how technology can drive business transformation, solve complex problems, and create new opportunities for individuals and organizations alike. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead teams of talented engineers and architects, working on a diverse array of projects across industries ranging from banking and finance to global IT services. At Infosys Technologies and Wipro Technologies, I deepened my understanding of the global IT landscape, architecting solutions for clients worldwide and delivering innovative software engineering solutions that addressed the unique needs of each organization. As an advocate for STEM education and a mentor to aspiring technologists, I have also seen the immense value in nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators. My work with STEM initiatives at Barclays has been a rewarding part of my career, where I’ve had the privilege of guiding young minds, encouraging them to explore the vast potential of technology, and empowering them to chart their own paths in a rapidly evolving field. This book is a culmination of my experiences, both as a technologist and as a mentor for the next generation of STEM leaders. I’ve seen how young minds, when given the right tools and guidance, can unlock new possibilities in the world of machine learning and data science.
