Based out of the Black Hills of South Dakota, Christian Kirsch is a landscape and
wildlife photographer who utilizes infrared photography to get stunning images of the
American West. Together with his wife, Kirsten, they operate Crow Peak Photography.
With an original interest in photography having been sparked by journalism, he strives
to keep images as they are, without leaning on digital manipulation to achieve a desired
look. Due to this, the cameras he use have special modifications that allow the beautiful
vibrant colors that we do not see. As a travelling artist who exhibits his work at art
shows in the upper Rocky Mountain area throughout the summer, his images come
from those regions and the nearby National Parks.
