Laurie B. Spellman

Laurie B. Spellman is an Austin-based author of fiction, incorporating emotions, whimsy, and romance. Most recently, her story Love in the Margins was named among the top 12 on the long list for the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation Short Story Competition, earning recognition in a celebration of Austen-inspired storytelling. Laurie has also published short fiction in Micromance Magazine, including the heartfelt “Faded Denim,” featured during their first‑anniversary celebration and she shares ongoing work via her Substack, Spellbound Stories.
