I created this journal after decades of studying Stoicism and the world’s most enduring philosophies. At a time when I needed structure, clarity, and focus, this philosophy became my foundation. I wrote this book because it's something I would have wanted when I was starting out on this path. I wanted something honest with real world examples and application of what stoicism looked like. Stoicism in practice is filtering decisions before bringing them out into the open. Sometimes it's a stoic moment, or a stoic event in your life. This book acts like a little nudge in the morning or evening. Reminding you of who you want to be. These motivational stories are a daily reminder to keep me grounded, disciplined, and moving forward.
Stoicism: The Essential Journal for Self Development and Emotional Intelligence Mastery was born out of that gap in the market. Not just stoic quotes and philosophy, I wanted a book that showed where philosophy is played out in daily life, in famous people and average Joes, from athletes, to scientists, to advocates. Stoicism isn't a philosophy built for men, women are also Stoic (there are plenty of women in the book). The book is for anyone wanting consistent motivation—athletes, CEOs, graduates, divorcees, military service members, fathers, aunts and anyone ready to build quiet mental strength, emotional control, and purpose-driven discipline.
It's simple motivation in 5 minutes a day, one page at a time. I think you'll love it.
