John Hamilton is a devoted dad, creative storyteller, and the co-creator of Rolo’s Big Adventure, The Men who Cried self help bokks and the new Astraeon Saga Fantasy Books. Inspired by his children and their real-life furry friend, Rolo, John brings family moments to life through warm, funny, and muddy adventures that kids love. With his wife Charlotte and their three children, John has turned bedtime stories into beautifully illustrated books — blending imagination with laughter on every page.

What started as a family project has become a growing series of tales where love, humour, and togetherness take centre stage. John believes every family has a story to tell — and this one just happens to have a dog at the heart of it.
