Gareth Davies is a writer, speaker, and global fraud prevention leader whose life changed forever after a catastrophic brain injury at the age of eighteen. Once on a path to Oxbridge, Gareth woke up in a Spanish hospital and began a decade-long struggle to rebuild his sense of self. That journey, from trauma to resilience, led him to develop The Service Mindset, a philosophy rooted in purpose, emotional strength, and living for others.
By day, Gareth works at the forefront of the insurance industry, using AI and behavioural insights to combat fraud and protect people from harm. By night, he writes with honesty, humour, and a deep belief that we can all find meaning - not by chasing success, but by choosing service.
Gareth lives in the English countryside with his family and a small dog called Nellie. He’s an advocate for neurodiversity, a proud dad and stepdad, and a firm believer that even in a world shaped by artificial intelligence, the human capacity for compassion and leadership still matters most.
