Miles Luo

Miles Luo is the pen name for a first-time author who is a bit nervous about publishing a deeply personal novel about marital dynamics. The man in the author photo is using air quotes to signal that he is a mere avatar, though fairly representative of the author's appearance (maybe with a slightly better hairline).

A former lawyer turned IT professional, Miles writes about mental health, masculinity, sexuality, relationships, technology, and the absurdity of modern workplaces. He blends introspection and candor with humor, though it's anybody's guess as to whether readers get his jokes. His next project is a sci-fi dystopian romance set within the HR department of a giant tech company. Hopefully this next book won't take thirteen years to complete.

He lives somewhere in the American Midwest with his wife, children, and cats.
