About the Author

Jamie Evangeline Starr Boteler

Ufologist, Researcher, Field Investigator, MUFON

Elizabeth City, North Carolina

Jamie Evangeline Starr Boteler is a devoted field investigator with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a passionate experiencer herself and one of the few women leading the charge in modern UAP research. She resides in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where she lives with her loving husband, Matthew, her children, and what she lovingly refers to as her 'zoo' - a house full of animals, laughter, and wonder.

Jamie's work is deeply personal and unflinchingly honest. As a researcher, mother, and lifelong truth-seeker, she has spent decades studying not only UFOs and government secrecy but also the spiritual and psychological transformations that occur in contact experiences. Her goal is to empower others to speak their truth, question official narratives, and embrace the mysteries that lie just beyond the stars.

In Between the Stars and Shadows, she offers not only a historical and investigative journey through the world of UAPs and whistleblower testimonies, but a call to conscious awakening – encouraging readers to look up, speak out, and never stop asking what else is out there.

This is Jamie's debut publication through Starr Publishing, an imprint she founded to protect truth while publishing it. Jamie is one of only a handful of women deeply involved in UAP research, and she brings a unique voice to a field often dominated by male perspectives. Her work is rooted in truth-seeking, empathy, and the belief that humanity deserves transparency. Whether investigating a local UFO sighting or diving into the mysteries of consciousness and ancient civilizations, Jamie is fearless in her pursuit of answers.

Her passion for truth, justice, and discovery is the beating heart of this book. Through Between the Stars and Shadows, she invites readers to join her in peeling back the layers of secrecy, asking the hard questions, and opening their minds to the extraordinary.
