Mr Cari Jiang

Cari is a writer, traveler and the lifelong companion of a once-stray dog named Harry.

For thirteen years, Cari and Harry cycled around the world together—from the auroras of the Arctic Circle to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, across the ancient Silk Road, and all the way to Ushuaia at the southern tip of South America. Along the way, they visited animal shelters in many countries, witnessing both the fragility and resilience of life and the profound bond between humans and animals.

With his warmth and boundless enthusiasm, Harry touched countless hearts. He taught Cari that choosing to love, to see, and to feel is life’s most precious gift. Although Harry has passed on, his story continues through Cari’s work.

Through his books and picture books, Cari shares this extraordinary journey with readers of all ages, inviting them to discover the warmth of the world and reflect on the meaning of compassion, choice, and the beauty of life itself.
