Cyndi Willmarth is a passionate advocate for young children and their families. Though Response Ability in the Classroom is her first published work, it is the culmination of over thirty-five years of teaching, coaching, leading, and reflective practice in the field of education. Cyndi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University St. Paul.
Writing this book alongside her co-author, Paige Brown, was both a joy and a deeply fulfilling experience. For Cyndi, these words have long been waiting to find their way onto the page and into the hands of those who believe in the power of looking within, nurturing social-emotional development, and fostering true leadership in the classroom. Now, that vision is a reality.
When she’s not writing, Cyndi cherishes time with her family, practices yoga, reads, and travels. She is excited to continue her journey with the written word and has already begun working on a follow-up to Response Ability in the Classroom.
Cyndi invites readers to join her on this path of exploration, self-reflection, and advocacy for the next generation of leaders.
