Dr Deborah Benson

Meet Deborah Adunoluwa Benson!

Dr. Benson is a certified Texas educator (Early Childhood–6th Grade & ESL), an MBA graduate, and an Honorary PhD recipient and a Cybersecurity/GRC analyst with a CISA and keen interest in AI Governance! She proudly wears many hats—mom, missionary, teacher, storyteller, GRC Analyst, model, speaker/trainer and above all, a child of God. Her journey in joyful learning began at home, writing early reader books while teaching her own child and while she led her early childhood center.

Since then, Dr. Benson has made it her mission to support young learners and those who guide them. Through her books, she helps children build confidence, equips parents and educators with simple, effective strategies, and uplifts singles, teens, and fellow teachers with faith-filled inspiration.

Driven by a deep love for children—and a special fondness for all things Korean—Deborah infuses her work with energy, warmth, and creativity, crafting stories that speak to a wide range of ages and life experiences. She also hopes that many people through her books can learn from her mistakes and avoid making the same. Her kids, Divine and Daniel are also authors of Simply Divine Adventures and The Big Adventures of Baby Worm.

When she is not writing, you will likely find her spending quality time with her kids, getting lost in a good book or K-drama/movie, traveling, visiting loved ones, or taking a reflective walk in nature.
