Michael Grossman

Dr. Michael Grossman brings over five decades of distinguished leadership to the nursing profession, with extensive experience across diverse clinical settings. He holds the Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC) credential and has served in a wide array of roles, including staff nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nurse manager, director, leadership development coordinator, consultant, and nurse entrepreneur.

A dynamic national speaker, Dr. Grossman is widely recognized for his engaging presentations on leadership, organizational change, quality improvement, interprofessional teamwork, and navigating emotionally complex patient and family interactions. He earned his doctorate in Management of Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix and completed both his BSN and MSN in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing at Widener University. He also holds a BA in Psychology from Temple University.

Dr. Grossman is a certified facilitator of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Kerry Patterson’s Crucial Conversations. In addition, he served as a national examiner for the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Dr. Grossman is also a certified Interfaith Facilitator for Interfaith Philadelphia.

Dedicated to advancing future leaders, he teaches Nursing Leadership at both Walden University and Villanova University. Dr. Grossman is the author of 12 books addressing topics such as kindness, workplace passion, overcoming job loss, workaholism, project management, and achieving balance and joy in nursing.
