Justin Masui

Justin Masui is a technology leader and software engineer with a multidisciplinary background in industrial engineering, systems administration, and computer science. He has held senior and principal-level roles across startups and large enterprises, where he provided technical and organizational leadership, led cross-functional teams, and drove complex engineering initiatives. His work has spanned systems architecture, performance optimization, and scalable software development.

Justin holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Applied Computational Mathematical Sciences, along with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of Washington. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Seattle University, where his graduate research on cloud storage cost optimization was published in the Proceedings of the 42nd International Conference on Parallel Processing.

In addition to his technical career, Justin has been an active investor for over two decades. He is also a seasoned traveler, outdoor enthusiast, and lifelong reader of science fiction. He lives with his beautiful wife in the Pacific Northwest.
