G.C. Cook

G.C. Cook once tried to microwave a burrito and ended up with an existential crisis—and somehow, that explains a lot about his writing. Equal parts philosopher, prankster, and storyteller, Garrett writes like someone who’s seen too many musicals and decided the cure was absurd comedy, emotional honesty, and just a dash of chaos, well and a dance break.

When he’s not crafting tales that make readers laugh, cry, or question their life choices, Garrett works in mental health—where he’s known for using empathy, sarcasm, and an alarming number of snacks to change lives. He holds a Clinical Mental Health degree, a deep appreciation for sports as myth, and a highly suspicious ficus that may or may not narrate novels.

G. C. lives somewhere between hope and Adderall, accompanied by his daughter, a mountain of notebooks, and an ever-growing collection of ideas that seemed brilliant at 2 a.m. but turns out was the result of that burrito.

He believes in the power of stories, the importance of naps, and that you should never trust a character who wears turtlenecks unironically or named Tim ( the new Chad).
