Dr. Joaquin E. Wallace is a nationally recognized expert in financial empowerment and generational wealth strategies. He is the creator of the Seven-Stage Generational Wealth Model© and firmly believes that “Generational Wealth Begins with Generational Knowledge®.” For over 20 years, Dr. Wallace has helped individuals and families transform their financial stories and build lasting legacies.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on Public Policy, an MBA in Marketing, and a B.A. in Economics. Dr. Wallace combines academic expertise with practical experience. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) and an Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional® (ABFP®). He also holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as credentials in Property and Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance. His comprehensive approach integrates behavioral finance, financial literacy, and community advocacy to support long-term wealth-building.
Dr. Wallace’s influence extends beyond academic theory. As the founder of Project Transition Incorporated, he has trained over 1,000 individuals and helped more than 300 find white-collar careers. His work earned him the Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Oakland Chamber of Commerce and recognition in Essence Magazine.
He is the host of The New Wealth Wave podcast and has been featured in WalletHub, Blavity News, and San Quentin Magazine. Contemporary Black Biography named him one of the most influential African Americans of the 21st century. He has also received fellowship nominations from the Annie E. Casey and Ford Foundations.
