Emma-Jane is a working single parent to four young people (four in four years with twins in the middle) and she describes herself as an ‘accidental author’. Her passion for behaviour support is driven by her vision to be the professional that she wishes she’d had access to over a decade ago and when families found value in her approach, she decided to share her experiences more widely.
Having worked in primary and secondary schools in both mainstream and specialist settings Emma-Jane has a lot of classroom experience supporting individuals. She has a master’s degree in Autism and is trained in autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS & ADI-R) as well as ADHD, dyslexia, mental health, PDA, sensory processing and trauma.
When Emma-Jane isn’t working (or parenting), her self-care is centred around health, fitness and nature. Out of hours, you’re likely to find her running through the countryside, at the gym or at the lake feeding ducks and climbing trees!
Emma-Jane makes a donation to charity for every single one of her books sold.
