TARA PORTER THOMAS

My name is Tara Porter Thomas (a.k.a. "Shorty"). I am a loving mom, sister, and daughter. I am a woman of faith and a member of Clifford Grove Baptist Church in Rayle, Georgia. I love photography, writing poetry, and spending time with my family and friends. In addition, as a naturally happy person, I love working with children. I have worked with children throughout my career as a teacher, mentor, paraprofessional, and counselor. Due to my sickness, I had to stop working in this field, however, I have continued using my talents in other ways. Just Tara’s Touch Pink - which stands for Touching Others Using my Cancer Healing for People In Need of Knowledge about Breast Cancer… (T.O.U.CH. P.I.N.K.) is a business I created, wherein God showed me in my dreams that I was to go out and share with the nation his healing power of my body from Breast Cancer to all people (especially young women). I am the author of two books about my journey, showing how my faith was tested and strengthened. May the words in this book touch you like never before. Be Blessed!!!
