Becky Colvin is a Bristol based illustrator. She loves to tell stories and capture the quiet moments in life – and maybe some of the not-so-quiet if she’s feeling particularly crazy. She bagged her degree in illustration at UWE Bristol and won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2023 as well as runner-up in the Batsford Prize in the children’s illustration category in her third year. Becky’s main personality trait is drawing so it won’t surprise you to know that that’s what she spends most of her time doing. She is also wildly mediocre at juggling. Her debut picture book, The Great Green Island, was published by Macmillan in July 2025.
