Faithful Uwaoma is a hands-on technical installation expert, renewable energy specialist, and author of The Before Series, a growing collection of survival-guided, plain-English books designed to empower families, technicians, and communities in under-regulated environments across the Global South.
With over 20 years of field experience, Faithful’s journey began in the most rugged, real-world classrooms: Nigeria’s informal tech trade streets. From building his first inverter from scrap in 2008 to constructing a generator prototype in 2018, he has grown through the fire of trial-and-error, setbacks, unsafe environments, and the absence of formal support, all of which now inform the depth, clarity, and empathy in his writing.
His experience spans:
- Home and industrial appliance installations
- GSM/GPRS trackers & smart surveillance systems
- Burglar alarms and home automation
- Solar energy systems and off-grid power planning
For the past 7+ years, he has focused on renewable energy and solar installations, navigating both urban and rural challenges that most textbooks don’t address.
Driven by a desire to see families and technicians escape preventable disasters, Faithful writes for end users, small businesses, NGOs, humanitarian projects, and institutions seeking context-aware, field-proven insight without jargon, gatekeeping, or elite technical language.
His books are not just guides, they’re technical survival kits packed with culturally relevant strategies, emotional awareness, and real-life stories. He is especially passionate about helping Africans and others in similar infrastructure-challenged regions make smarter decisions before things break, burn, bite, or bankrupt them.
Faithful is open to partnerships, research collaborations, public speaking, and solution-based engagements with NGOs, development institutions, and academic platforms globally.
“I write the books I wish someone gave me when I started books that can be read by your aunt, your apprentice, or your village electrician, and still change their lives.”
