Jean Cruz, PhD, is the Co-founder and Global Managing Partner of AGMI Group, advising pharmaceutical companies, investors, and biotech founders on R&D strategy, M&A, and global market expansion. He is also a scientist, strategist, and investor with deep expertise in biopharma innovation and private capital. Dr. Cruz earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, where he led multi-institutional research initiatives in neurodegeneration and therapeutic imaging. In 2017, he joined Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow and junior faculty member, contributing to first-in-human diagnostic technologies and publishing in journals such as Nature. Dr. Cruz later served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he led high-impact valuation and portfolio strategy efforts for neuro, immunology, and cell and gene therapy assets across the U.S. and Latin America.
