Nicole Cantle

Ever since I could talk, I’ve been asking questions, telling stories, and starting conversations. With a degree in English Literature and a Masters in Leadership, I’ve spent 25 years teaching teenagers the magic of words—and learning just as much from them in return.

I write about the art of connection: how we speak, listen, and stay curious in a noisy world. My work draws on decades of classroom wisdom, real-life conversations, and a deep belief that communication is where change begins. I've been published in both poetry anthologies and academic journals, and I believe equally in metaphor and a well-structured paragraph.

I live on 20 acres of rolling hills on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, with my three children and a herd of thoroughly indulged ponies. My office has a view, my boots are muddy, and the kettle is always on.

Whether I’m writing about small talk, deep conversations, or the quiet magic of being present, my goal is the same: to help people connect—with others, with wonder, and with their own voice.
