Jürgen Anke is a professor of software technology and information systems at HTW Dresden, where he heads the Digital Service Systems working group. He earned his doctorate in computer science from Dresden University of Technology with a thesis on distributed system architectures and his habilitation in information systems from Leipzig University with a thesis on smart service innovations. His research focuses on processes, methods, and models for digital service innovations and the use of digital identities for trustworthy digital interactions. Jürgen Anke headed the BMWK-funded showcase project “ID-Ideal,” in which applications for secure digital identities and credentials were developed and evaluated in Saxony. Before his appointment at HTW Dresden, he worked for more than ten years as a founder, consultant, and researcher in the IT industry, including at SAP and T-Systems.
