Ibrahim Ali Syed

Hi, as you know, my name is Ibrahim Syed! I self published my first book, Rise of the Midknight, on my fifteenth birthday, because ever since I was a kid I've dreamed of being an author. When I was younger, I was always writing stories, always drawing them too, only I was never brave enough to publish them, and now I am. I write arthurian fantasy while incorporating several different cultures and their mythologies, such as the cultures and mythologies of the Aztecs, Cherokee, Greeks, whoever I can wrap into my story. I do my best to actually stay accurate to these cultures and not just give their traits to made up ones, so I literally call them Aztec ogres, Greek centaurs, I pluralize their words based on how their languages pluralize, things like that! A lot of the concepts in Rise of the Midknight, such as the Jinn, come from my own religion, which I am very fond of! I just have to let anyone who reads this know, we've already read Rise of the Midknight, but pretty soon it'll be time to talk about book two, the Fall of the Midknight! So have a little more faith and a little more patience, and pretty soon you'll be able to binge another great adventure!
