Brandon J. Moore is the founder and Senior Pastor of Radiant Refuge Ministries, an online church built for the misfits, skeptics, and spiritual wanderers who’ve been side-eyed by traditional religion for asking too many questions. His work combines biblical storytelling, social commentary, and a healthy dose of sarcasm—think Jesus meets punk rock with a seminary degree.

Brandon’s writing voice is equal parts prophet, poet, and Pittsburgh yinzer. He’s not afraid to cuss a little, cry a lot, or call out injustice in the name of love. His debut book Holy. Freaking. Skubala. was born from a viral post that reimagined the Rich Young Ruler as Elon Musk—and the wildfire hasn’t stopped since.

He lives in New Castle, Pennsylvania with his wife Christine—his best friend, co-conspirator, and the love of his life—and their four beloved chaos goblins: Igby the anxious rat terrier, Macy Gray the gray terror, Walter Gene the lovable ginger, and Harley Quinn the floofiest of floofballs. He writes sermons with Rammstein in his headphones and a Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake Roll nearby, in memory of his Grammy who gave them up for Lent…and never went back.
