JoAnne DeKeuster

JoAnne DeKeuster grew up in rural Wisconsin. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and a Master of Arts in Ceramics from Northern Arizona University. She served as an educator for 22 years

She has written and illustrated three children's books. Her most recent book, The Boy Who Flies, won the 2021 Next Generation Indie Book Award for Best Children's Educational Picture Book and the 2021 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for Best Multi-Cultural Book.

JoAnne currently lives in Taos, New Mexico. An accomplished ceramic artist, she and her husband own and operate Enchanted Circle Pottery.
