Howie Goldklang is an award-winning realism poet and screenwriter.
A former Division 1 400m hurdler turned long-distance runner, he founded the Silver Lake Track Club, a purpose-driven running collective using the transformative power of movement to uplift Los Angeles through inclusive events, community partnerships, and a culture of care.
Goldklang co-wrote the feature films Vanity and Metal Knights, created one-act plays with the world-renowned Sacred Fools Theater, and has written and performed stand-up comedy in his hometown of Los Angeles.
