J CHRISTOPHER EVANS is a creative who uses the arts to glorify his Savior and advance the gospel. He is a writer, painter and founder of a media ministry for the unreached. He uses visual arts to highlight unreached peoples. Serving as a "tentmaker," a self-supporting witness, he uses writing to encourage recovering the truth that mission engagement is part of following Christ. He had the privilege of serving as the chairman of the strategy committee of a denominational mission board. A Presbyterian elder, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he was awarded the Olive Branch Prize for dedication to world missions. He did additional work at Harvard University.
