Sassy Wyatt is a blind traveller, disability awareness consultant, award-winning travel writer, speaker and content creator, who’s determined to change how the world sees accessibility.
She lost her sight suddenly at 22 and had to relearn how to navigate not just the world around her, but also the digital world most people take for granted.
What started as a personal journey quickly turned into a professional mission: to challenge outdated attitudes, highlight everyday barriers, and show just how easy it can be to be more inclusive.
As the founder of Blind Girl Adventures, Sassy has become a trusted voice in the travel, disability and marketing industries. Her work spans consultancy, keynotes, campaigns and content that make accessibility less about compliance and more about connection. She’s been featured on the BBC, ITV, Sky News and written for publications including Wanderlust, National Geographic and CNN Travel. She’s also won multiple awards including Accessible Travel Writer of the Year and Diversity Champion of the Year.
You’ll usually find her drinking tea, singing badly to her now retired Guide Dog Ida, and plotting her next adventure, while calling out the inaccessible design she encounters along the way.
Her writing combines personal storytelling, sharp insight and practical advice that helps brands, creators and everyday people do better by the disabled community.
If you believe that access is a right, not a privilege, and want to be part of building a more inclusive world, you’re in the right place.
Let's make the world a more accessible place together! 🫶🏻
